Guest Chef-TOKYO CHOPSTICKS

On May 6th, we are so proud to be hosting Chef Keisuke Oyama for the evening and TOKYO CHOPSTICKS will be taking over the food menu! TOKYO CHOPSTICKS has been popping up all over Calgary and blowing people away! It was even voted one of the best pop up in YYC by avenuemagazine restaurants award for 2022 and 2023.

To say we are excited is an understatement, and we are honoured he has agreed to make the trip to Lethbridge to pop up at Steel & Vines. 

Chef Keisuke was born in Tokyo, Japan where he worked in some Italian restaurants. He moved to Calgary in 2007 where he worked as a chef at a Japanese restaurant, a bistro, Gyoza shop and ramen shop. 

After Covid, He decided to start TOKYO CHOPSTICKS and began popping up at Shelter Cocktail Bar serving tapas, ramen, and omakase by reservation only! He even had a collaboration dinner with H Tasting Lounge at Westin Bayshore in Vancouver last November.

Chef Keisuke tries to use local ingredients or products as much as possible to support each other and create the menu with influences from Japanese and European cuisine.
